Overstock.com reports in an email that they have seen a 30-35% increase in seller activity since January 29th when online auction giant eBay announced major new changes. In the email, Overstock also reports a nearly 20% increase in listings this week.

Overstock.com Auctions announced a 50% off listing fee promotion that just happens to coincide with the eBay user boycott this week. Whether the promotion was pre-planned or put together to match the boycott dates doesn't really matter, it makes good business sense to bring attention to their auctions in a time of turmoil and discontent with eBay users.

Though the Overstock.com/auction numbers are fairly low, as are many of the alternative marketing sites, much attention has been focused on having multiple marketing channels by concerned eBay sellers.
