eBay's Radio Show More Like An Infomercial Each Week! No Longer Taking Calls From Suspended Users

I have been listening lately to eBay Radio, with the entertaining host Jim "Griff" Griffith and Lee Mirabal. For a while it seemed like Griff was really trying to answer listeners, whether it be on air or email questions. It appears that eBay management has stepped in and put a gag on Griff. No longer will he accept calls from users who have been suspended or restricted caught in the "Black Hole" of emails by Trust & Safety. It seems Griff will no longer intervene or help those that can't seem to find the help anywhere else. For many, Griff often appeared as a last resort before throwing their hands up in dispair. Now even that glimmer of hope has been taken away.

Now in full disclosure, I used to work with Griff, as an instructor at eBay University. I like Griff, and enjoy his insight, knowledge of the history and growth of the site and his humor.

What I don't like is the infomercial that the eBay Radio show has become. On the Tuesday broadcasts, the 3 hour program becomes 90 minutes of commercials from vendors and third party services, and 90 minutes of Griff telling callers only to use PayPal (of course, eBay owns it!) and very little substance on how to utilize the site or other constructive information.

The archived programs indicate that the 90 minutes available to callers ( I shouldn't say 90 minutes because 5 minutes of every 20 are commercials) are more like an eBay rally rather than real information that community members can use.
