eBay has announced it is expanding the testing of the extended BIN (Buy It Now) feature to Clothing, Shoes & Accessories and Cell Phones & PDAs categories as well as the previous tested categories of  Parts & Accessories (eBay Motors) and Tickets.

I think this is one of the better marketing moves that eBay has made for sellers in the recent past. Currently eBay is testing this at 50% of the BIN price. This means that the BIN will remain active until the bidding reaches 50% of the BIN price rather than disappearing after the first bid.

Again, good move eBay!
