eBay and Beyond: Basics to Business was shunned at eBay Live! In April, InternetAuctionNewsRadio.com the parent company of eBay and Beyond: Basics to Business was granted media credentials for the annual eBay Live conference. I immediately submitted requests for interviews with several eBay top execs. After several weeks without a response, I emailed the PR department again requesting interviews. I was informed that time limitations did not allow any interviews with any of the eBay management staff.

Upon arrival at the conference, Sparky and I received our media credentials, were directed to the media packets available from vendors and sponsors and left to "fend for ourselves"

While other media outlets where provided with assistance and interview opportunities, access to areas of the conference for photos etc, eBay and Beyond was not.

As the host of eBay and Beyond: Basics To Business, I voiced my concerns and complaints to the PR personnel at the event. Unfortunately, there was no change in the attitude of eBay staff towards our program.

It appears from our standpoint that as an outside media source, eBay made no effort to provide any assistance to this program.

Hopefully this will change as eBay realizes our program is not going away!
