The IRS and eBay and What It Means for Sellers

The IRS has for years been working towards requiring sites such as eBay, Amazon, and other websites to report sellers information to the government. This is sought so that the government can tax those sellers that reach a certain level of sales.

I have long been an opponent of this simply based on privacy. I urge all sellers to comply with all laws by any government agency, however oppose the proposed invasion of privacy the action the IRS is trying to implement.

I received the following information in one of the news feeds I receive daily and believe we as internet marketers should contact our congressman and senators to oppose this proposed legislation!
